This is a photograph of Gretchen Molannen taken shortly before her death. Gretchen Molannen was twice denied disability for her condition by the Social Security Administration in the Tampa Bay area. The Office of Disability Adjudication and Review for her case, apparently is none other than the office at Saint Petersburg, Florida. She would have filed at the Spring Hill DO located at New Port Richey, Florida.

Ms. Molannen suffered from Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder (PGAD), yet the Social Security Administration doesn’t think it was a problem serious enough to award disability. According to a press account of Molannen’s last days, “…she’d been contemplating suicide after being repeatedly denied federal disability benefits.”

Some critics may say PGAD is not “recognized” as a disability by the Social Security Administration, so they needed to follow the “law,” or follow “regulations.” As I will show you in a later post, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see the immense range in favorable decisions rendered by Administrative Law Judges (ALJs) at the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review at Saint Petersburg, Florida. Based on the factual statistics, an Administrative Law Judge appears to have a wide range of “discretion” when deciding disability cases.

Hell! The ALJs at the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review in Saint Petersburg apparently don’t require an active case to “deny” your disability or “dismiss” a case. They’ll proceed with a “non-case” that is withdrawn and without any authorization to proceed–the bureaucrats just plow on without reading anything you send them. They could care less–

What happened to Molannen is absolutely immoral and reprehensible. The amount of sleep likely lost by anyone at the Social Security Administration who was involved in denying her disability: 0

If anyone who is reading this post is considering suicide, please don’t do it over the abuse you receive at the hands of the Social Security Administration. Call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255 (if you are a veteran press “1”). A support group for Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder can be found at: PSAS Support Group The abusers at the Social Security Administration are just that: ABUSERS.

I wonder how many people have applied for Social Security disability benefits for physical or mental conditions and committed suicide after they were denied benefits from uncaring bureaucrats? To the Social Security Administration she’s just someone else they won’t have to pay to save the government money.
